Each postal area is shown on a map of England or London but if you want to know the postal number you can go to www.a-zmaps.co.uk or telephone 01732 781000 to order your area on a map.
You can also get the actual post codes from web sites of UK post codes and the post office.com do it on their web site http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/postc鈥?/a>

Royal Mail (dot com) will let you find twelve postcodes a day if you put the address in. Any more, I think you have to pay (or subscribe under a different persona!)

If you don't want to subscribe to anything; If you put a postcode into http://maps.google.co.uk it finds the exact street on a close-up map (there's a zoom ruler on the map). Some websites eg. postcards.com or you can search it through streetmap.com, it is something like that if not streetmap.com try streetmap.co.uk i think that should help!!

I am pretty sure that if you go to the post office website you can find it. The royal mail has books and cds with all the codes in but you have to pay for those.
