I've noticed that there are small patterns between area codes of big cities. For example, there are a lot of major cities that have x12 or x15 as the 3 numbers in the area code, with the x obviously being the 1st number. I think this would be easy to figure out, but would require some work, so I just thought I'd ask. Thanks! Are there any sort of patterns to area codes throughout major cities?
