Family plan with different area codes?

I am currently in Georgia, living with my family, but will be moving to Colorado soon. We are on an ATT family plan, and I'm wondering if it will be possible for me to stay on the plan, but get a cell phone with a Colorado area code. IT is important that I have a Colorado area code, so keeping my Georgia is not an option. Thanks.Family plan with different area codes?
yes, the account holder ( parents ) will just need to call at%26amp;t and explain that you are a student and need to change your primary place of use due to going to college. if you get some uneducated agent on the phone ( there are a lot of them ) that says it cant be done just hang up and call back to get another agent. if you have more trouble just ask for a supervisor.dont go into the store to do it they are clueless.just call the 800 number.Family plan with different area codes?
I'm pretty sure this is NOT an option from ATT at this point, but they were looking into it.

Call ATT and see what they have to say.
