Does vhs have different area codes in which the video will play like dvds do?

I have been looking for a dvd copy of fatal past but apparently I can only find it on albris in Vhs and I was told that this would only play on a american video player. I didn't think vhs was regionalised.

can anyone tell me if this is true.

Alternatively does anyone have the cliver fleurry movie fatal past and is willing to sell?Does vhs have different area codes in which the video will play like dvds do?
it'll be a NTSC video which wont work on a pal (european) vcr, yeah this happened.

if you can still buy a vcr these days, most of them could play NTSC videosDoes vhs have different area codes in which the video will play like dvds do?
No I do not believe VHS are region compatible like DVDsDoes vhs have different area codes in which the video will play like dvds do?
They aren't region locked, but are different video formats.

You will need a multi-standard VCR and TV to play them.
