I get calls from people with no area codes?

The number shows up but without the 3 digit area code...why is this.I get calls from people with no area codes?
It means they are from within your area code. You should be able to adjust your phone to show the area code by clicking "edit" some where on it. I've had GE, Panasonic, and VTECH phones and that's how I made the area code show up or disappear based on if it was from my own area.I get calls from people with no area codes?
check the local area code that is programmed into your caller ID box... if the call is from the same area code as the local area code that is programed into your caller ID or phone, then it will not display the area code...



if you are in an area that requires 10 digit dialing, and you want the CID to show the area code and phone number, change the local area code programmed into your phone or caller ID box to "000"I get calls from people with no area codes?
It could be a call from your own area code. Ask the next person where they are calling from
