Are we running out of area codes?

Just wondering, it seems like we get a new area code every year here in New York. It's crazy with all the cell phones and fax machines and pagers is clogging up the phone lines lol.Are we running out of area codes?
nope. but I do have a solution just add a 1 to everybodys number

example (212) 1456-1234 until that series is done then continue 2456-1234 or add a digit at the end 212-456-12340

Maybe, for NYC and Pennsylvania and other large states.

Not area codes, but maybe phones numbers. If you dial your number with another area code, I will guarantee someone will answer.
