Why do some people put their area codes in their screen names?

I noticed it alot on sites like YouTube where, for example, someone called himself "SharkTown408", and another person is "CutiePie314".Why do some people put their area codes in their screen names?
My zip code is 77007. Stalk me.....Why do some people put their area codes in their screen names?
Those are not necessarily area codes. Many screen names have been used multiple times and that is the current number with that screen name that can be used.
