so im trying to call family in south korea (im in america) my question is does south korea have area codes like in the state ie 310, 704, 919 etc? i know i have to dial out of th us and use the country code and city code. example: 011-82-2-???????? how do i find out the area code? i my family lives in seoul real close to lotte world.
thanksDoes south korea have area codes?
yes we do.
seoul is 02
Geeoggido is 031
..... rest.. i dk.. sorry
but
011 -calling international
82 - country code
2- area code
when you are making an international phone call
you don't press zeros thats in front of starting numbers.
for example
011-82-02 is wrong
011-82-2 is right
when you call cell phones
oh korean cells start with 010, 011.. theres no area code for cells
so if you wanna call somebody on their cells
its
011-82-10
or 011-82-11 and rest of the number.Does south korea have area codes?
It's 02 for landlines.
The country code is 82.
But it seems like your family use a cellphone number.
The area code is 011, the international access code, use that.
